Australia's premier Linux and Open Technologies conference, Everything Open, is coming to Meanjin / Brisbane, Australia from 20-22 January 2027.
Everything Open is a grassroots conference with a focus on Linux and open technologies, the community that has built up around this movement and the values that it represents.
Our theme for this year is “Building the Future Together”, celebrating the spirit of openness: welcoming new voices, preserving hard-won skills and knowledge, and building the future of “open” together. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to the community, or sharing decades of experience, Everything Open 2027 in Meanjin / Brisbane will be the ideal place to learn, teach, and collaborate.
From toolchains to documentation, hardware to licensing, and much more, we’re here to ensure open technologies thrive for generations to come.
The three day conference will be held at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Gardens Point campus, on the southern edge of the city centre beside the City Botanical Gardens and the river.
